NAIA Representative Dave Dallas Joins NATS Board of Review

Dave DallasMAIA LogoNational Association of Intercollegiate Athletics President Jim Carr has named Dave Dallas (HC Wesleyan University) to represent NAIA on the NATS Board of Review.

Now in his 10th year at the helm of Kansas Wesleyan, Coach Dallas is the longest tenured football coach in the Kansas Conference. Since the 1997 season, Coach Dallas has racked up a 48-42 record with the Coyotes for third all-time coaching wins at KWU. Under his leadership, the Coyotes have captured two KCAC Championships (2001/2002) and two NAIA Post-Season Championship berths.

Coach Dallas epitomizes the best in NAIA college coaching and player mentoring" said NAIA President, Jim Carr. "The NAIA will be well served by Dave's presence on the NATS Board." Coach Dallas will join his fellow NATS Board of Review members January 2007 in San Antonio, Texas at the Annual BOR meeting held each year during the AFCA Convention.

AFCA Executive Director Grant Teaff said, "The NATS-BOR oversees all aspects of the NATS program and the addition of Coach Dallas will provide important perspective which will strengthen our governing capabilities."
