USA Football Endorses NATS
February 1, 2005
USA Football, the national football advocacy group founded by the National Football League and NFL Players Association, voted unanimously to officially endorsed NATS at their recent Board of Directors meeting in New York. In addition, USA Football Executive Director, Scott Hallenbeck, will be joining the newly formed NATS Board of Review which is chaired by Coach Tyrone Willingham.
In working with NATS, USA Football will be coordinating with all NFL clubs to make NFL practice facilities available for NATS Tests.
“Holding NATS Tests at NFL team practice facilities is important both for their quality as a uniform testing environment and for player safety,” stated Hallenbeck. “And, in addition to that it will be really exciting for the high school athletes and high school coaches in attendance.”
USA Football is an independent non-profit organization whose purpose is to galvanize, support and promote the sport at all levels of amateur football. USA Football was launched in December 2002 and received its initial funding from the National Football League and the NFL Players Association, through the NFL Youth Football Fund.
