NATS and ASCA Providing School Counselors with Academic Tools

School counselors nationwide now have an easy way to assist their student athletes with NCAA academic eligibility and a variety of other academic and athletic related issues. The National Athletic Testing System and its academic partner ASCA are making it all possible.

One exciting online tool being provided is the Core Course Calculator, an interactive program which enables school counselors to help their student athletes track their progress toward satisfying their NCAA Core Course requirements. This program is also automatically available to all players participating in NATS Tests as early as the beginning of their freshman year.

“The NATS Core Course Calculator is a must-use tool for school counselors nationwide. No longer will students and counselors struggle to calculate Core Course G.P.A. minimum ACT or SAT scores. ASCA is pleased to help make the Core Course Calculator available to school counselors and their student athletes,” said ASCA Executive Director, Richard Wong.
