Students with Disabilities

NCAA

Students with disabilities may receive accommodations in order to meet NCAA initial-eligibility standards.

Accommodations for eligible students allow those students to:

  • Use courses for students with disabilities that are designated on the high school's list of approved courses.
  • Use approved core courses taken before the student enrolls full-time in college, including courses taken in the summer after high school.
  • Use ACT/SAT scores achieved during nonstandard test administration.
  • File an initial-eligibility waiver if the student does not meet the initial-eligibility requirements.
